Since 2013, in cooperation with Dutch partners and using their experience and knowledge, Arte Racing to offer go-kart engine tuning service. We have one of the most modern engine test bench in Baltic states which includes:

1. Integrated heating/cooling system that pre-heat engine to the desired temperature.
2. Automatic coolant temperature control system which will keep the engine at desired temperature during all testing time.
3. Powerful exhaust gas turbine.
4. Exhaust gas temperature control sensor.
5. Wide band lambda sensor for fuel composition.
6. Automatic weather station (humidity, temperature and atmospheric pressure).

In new go-kart season of year 2017/2018 Arte Racing offer engine tests. If you want to understand that your new engine has the potential to win or the old one need tuning – don’t hesitate call us and we will help you +371 26 29 29 29. Price depending on amount of jobs

First time in real life new Rotax Max Evo 125 engine 01.2015.

Many thanks to Mr. Eriks Gasparovics and some other people. We had an opportunity to made new Evo class engine comparing tests with each other and with the old Max engines. We do not claim to absolute truth and this is just our opinion about the new Rotax products i.e. Rotax Max Evo series engines. We believe that innovation Rotax made has not only for profit, but also made bussiness for consumers i.e. drivers and mechanics. When unboxing the engine package first time you can see on labale Made in China of separate engine parts. It gives a little surprise. Wiring loom and switch mechanism looks very cheap. Feelings like the plastic knob will break frequently (it originally has not held in all positions). When performing engine tests someone touches a little bit by hand to start knob as a result was starting starter motor and starting the engine. Be careful, because engine and chassis parts rotation, could result an injury. There is a relatively large amount of electronics, what means that in the spare parts box should always be following things:
1. Relay of start knob switch, because at current overloads it will be the first element that burns.
2. ECU, because it is not dismountable unit and may also be checked according technical rules by technical control with special tester.
3. The vacuum regulator for power valve (Rotax Max Senior and Rotax DD2 engines).
It is good that the power valve hasn’t possibility make mechanical adjustments anymore. There are only two options for power valve opening now i.e. at 7600 and 7900 rpm (information from user manual). In short time, it is impossible to make opinion about engine and its parts wearing limits. Comparing the old and new engine tests we conclude that both of engine type i.e. old and new Evo has pozitive and negative sides. Good results in tests we reach when made synergy of new and old engine parts. It is not clear why one of the support bracket of the new exhaust is designed so complex. In our opinion, that the old design is more useful, because more easy to dismount, it had fewer parts, which was cheaper by definition. The main conclusion – engines will be regulated in the same way as before. But everything that is new is usually caused by a certain proportion of skepticism, but we believe that it will take a year maybe two, when engines drop his “childhood diseases”, while the Rotax quickly prevent them and new engines continue to delight us in the future as before. Since year of 2015, according to the technical rules, in races we will be able to use any of engine parts i.e. three types of exhaust pipes, three types of carburettors, three types of radiators as well as the use of both old and new power valves. Looks that this season will be funny and very interesting. We wishies new discoveries for everyone, fast lap times and meet at the race track.
